How to check KCSE 2018 & KCPE 2018 results online
Times have moved from the time one could patiently wait for results to arrive at schools so that one can know how good or bad their KCPE or KCSE performance was. This change of times has been necessitated by technology, enabling candidates who sat for their examination to view their results online from the comfort of their homes. Not only that, but also download and print their result slips from online.
But you need to be computer literate for you to access your results. You also need a computer and a network connection so as to access the internet. This can be a local cyber or at home if you have one.
The internet can be accessed using various browsers. Those currently in the market include Mozilla Firefox, google chrome, internet explorer as well as opera mini. Click on any of them. My preference being google chrome as it has better features.
For you to access your results, you have to go directly to the body that deals with Kenya national examinations- which is KNEC. Key in www.knec.ac.ke. This will land you directly to their website unlike when you google search KNEC. This is the only body responsible for national examination results.
On this homepage, there is a drop down menu that will necessitate you to select KCPE or KCSE options depending on your level. Also select the year you sat for your examination in the next drop down menu. Finally, enter the correct index number at the third drop menu and select the submit button.
The KNEC database will load the information and display your results. On this page, there is an option to print. If you have a printer at your disposal you can print directly. But you can also save the result slip on a flash or even computer and print it later.
That was easy, wasn’t it?
