International Students
A significant percentage of the student body is from outside Kenya. Students have come from 20 African countries, Canada, the United States, Iceland and Korea.
Many international students find communities from their home countries in Nairobi, and are able to exercise a valuable ministry among them, as well as in the church of Kenya. The cultural variety found among faculty and students is a unique and enriching characteristic of the University.
As part of the letter of acceptance, PAC University will inform the student of the necessary steps to satisfy Kenya’s immigration laws. Upon receipt of the necessary information and fee, the University will apply for a Kenya Pupil’s Pass (KPP).
No foreign student should arrive in Kenya without this document or a VISA. Students must ensure that the KPP and any Dependent’s Passes required are renewed as necessary.
Students must also apply for an Aliens Pass upon arrival in Kenya.
To prevent the University from finding itself in an awkward immigration situation, international students will be initially given a conditional admission to the institution.
This condition is detached when the student has one of the following verified:
- They have sufficient funds to cover the first year
- They verify that they have a sponsor that will cover their expenses
- They are in possession of a return airfare ticket to their country of origin
Fee Structure
PLEASE NOTE:
This fee schedule is established by the Council of Governors and may be raised at the discretion of the Council should economic circumstances in Kenya change.
The full time course load is between 10 and 12 credit hours per term.
Students with an average of B+ or higher are allowed to accelerate and may take up to 15 credit hours per term.
