COMMENCEMENT DATES – 2017/2018 ACADEMIC YEAR
The University of Nairobi wishes to inform the following groups of students (Module I and Module II Intergrated) that the commencement dates for the 2017/2018 academic year are as follows:
MONDAY, 9TH JANUARY, 2017
  • First year students (freshers) in the School of Education and College of Humanities & Social Sciences (C.H.S.S.).

MONDAY, 16TH JANUARY, 2017

  • Fourth year students (K.C.S.E. 2012) in C.A.V.S., C.A.E., C.B.P.S., School of Education, B.Sc. (Biochemistry) and B.Sc. (Medical Lab. Tech.).
  • Second years (K.C.S.E. 2014) in C.H.S.S.
  • Second year and third year students in the School of Education to commence their second semester.
MONDAY, 27TH MARCH, 2017
  • Fourth year students in College of Health Sciences (except B.Sc. Biochem & Medical Lab. Tech.)
      TUITION FEES
(i)         ALL STUDENTS except Diploma students, shall each pay tuition Fees of Kshs. 16,000/= per year, before or on the registration day, made up as follows:
  1. Kshs. 8,000/- Direct Charge for which needy students may apply for Bursary from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
  1. Kshs. 8,000/- for which one may pay direct or apply for a loan from HELB.

g)         Fees is payable in full on or before commencement of each semester.  All fees shall be paid by CASH DEPOSIT, EFT or RTGS transfer to UON CESSP collection Account No. 2032771362 at Barclays Bank of Kenya, Plaza branch.  Deposits may be made at any Branch of Barclays Bank countrywide.
5.         All students are informed that all fees and other charges are payable at the commencement of the semester they are due.  No student shall be allowed into lectures, examinations or participate in activities which have not been fully paid for.
