University Of Eldoret Elections, This is to bring to the attention of all students about the changes that were brought about by the above mentioned bill which was signed into law by the President of the Republic of Kenya on 16th December, 2016. The changes touch on the leadership structure and the election process in all Public and Private Universities, including the University of Eldoret and will be enforced in the forth coming UESO elections. Presidential Election Break of University
This is to inform All Staff And Students that the University will break for Elections (voting exercise) from Monday 23thOctober, 2017 to Sunday 29th except those in essential service areas like: Security, Health services, Farm. This is to allow members of staff and students to travel to various destinations for the voting exercise. The University will re-open on Monday 30th October, 2017 at 8.00am. For students, Lectures resume on Monday 30th October, 2017 as well.
Heads of Departments/Sections in essential service areas should organize a duty roaster in their respective Departments/Sections for the said period.
For members of staff, please note that the days for this break and those taken between 4th August, 2017 and Monday 21st August, 2017 will NOT be deducted from the annual leave days.
