Maseno University Vice Chancellor, Professor Julius Omondi Nyabundi has taken over as the new Vice-Chancellor of Maseno University with effect from 1st March 2016.
Prof. Nyabundi has promised to make sure Maseno University continues to offer quality education. He will strive to make sure the University access resources that will facilitate it to offer quality education and establish more infrastructures relevant in improving the quality of services offered.
Noting that Kenyans are hungry for education, he said he will pursue the concept of ‘quality sells’, in which he wants the University to emphasize on quality services that will automatically sell it to prospective students.
In order to make significance difference, the Vice-Chancellor said he will identify critical areas and move them to higher levels by channeling adequate resources to them.
Prof. Nyabundi is the immediate former Principal of Muranga University College and a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Maseno University. He had previously served as the Managing Director, Chemelil Sugar Company. He is a renowned scholar who has published widely in refereed journals and has presented papers in local and international conferences.
