Maasai Mara University Vice Chancellor, I have PhD in Food and Nutrition with a strong inclination to food security and nutrition, MBA Strategic Management, MSc Applied Human Nutrition, and Bachelor of Education degrees. I have been lecturing at the University for about 20 years and supervised postgraduate research in food security, land use, nutrition and expenditure.

I have received research funding from the National Council for Science and Technology, Kenya; Lake Victoria Research Initiative,  Inter-University Council for East Africa; Commonwealth of Learning [COL] for Open and Distance Learning Canadian; African Institute for Capacity Development; International Society of Ethnobiology;  Indo-Kenya Cultural Exchange Programme, Government of India; IDRC;  CIDA.
