Laikipia University Christian Union, L.U.C.U Laikipia university Christian union is a union of Christian students in Laikipia University bound together in the common faith in one and only true God, committed to living the holly bibillical scriptures L.U.C.U is interdenominational, and it is exclusively non-denominational, non-political and non-profit making movement.

To be a Christ body of believers making disciples and Advancing God’s kingdom.
MISSION
To cultivate among Christian students in Laikipia university, a passion to seek God whole-heartedly, engage in witnessing, Discipleship and develop leadership skills for effective Christian living and ministry in and out of campus.

OBJECTIVES
The main objectives for which the union are established are:
1.Missions – Witnessing to others beyond the university about Jesus as God’s incarnate and seek to lead them to a personal faith in him.
2.Evangelism – reaching out to members within the university.
3.Discipleship –nurturing and mentoring believers in their spiritual lives through bible study, Prayers and Christian fellowship.
4.Leadership Development – to develop servant leadership among members through training and providing corridors of service.
5.Responsible church members – To promote active participation in unions activities.
AFFILIATION LUCU is affiliated to FOCUS KENYA (Fellowship of Christian Unions). FOCUS is an umbrella body that unites all the Christian unions in institutions of higher learning that is (Universities and Colleges)
