KMTC GOVERNMENT SPONSORED
The Kenya Medical Training College KMTC government sponsored students are those students who are sponsored by the government of Kenya through their education. Their fees are mostly paid by the government and they are placed through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
Applications are normally opened for January, March and September intakes depending on the program to be offered.

2015/2016 Placement of Government Sponsored Students to KMTC
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service is a State Corporation mandated to Coordinate the Placement of Government Sponsored Students to Universities and Colleges.
In the 2015/2016 placement, a total of 2,302 Government Sponsored Students were placed in the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) by the Placement Service in line with the mandate of the Placement Service as per the Universities Act, 2012 and the Technical Vocational Education and Training Act, 2013. At the same time, KMTC admitted its own students.
After consultations, a consensus was reached that all the 2,302 students placed by the Placement Service and those admitted by KMTC be admitted in the 2015/2016 academic year in a one-off intake.
All the students placed by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service are hereby advised to contact the Kenya Medical Training College for admission letters and other joining instructions.
