Update on Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (joost) 6th graduation list and ceremony that will take place on Friday 14th December 2018.
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University 6th Graduation Ceremony Dates
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology wishes to inform ALL candidates who qualified for the conferment of various degrees and award of diplomas and certificates of joost in the Academic year 2017/2018 that the Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday 14th December 2018 starting at 8.00am at the Main Campus in Bondo Town.
Confirmation of Graduation Names
It is the responsibility of each graduand to confirm his/her examination results and the accuracy and order of names from their respective Dean’s Offices. Prospective graduands are also advised to clear any fee arrears or charges. Those who will not have met all the requirements for graduation will not be included in the graduation list. Correction of names should be done to [email protected] latest by 19th October, 2018.
Graduation Rehearsal
All Graduands are advised to attend the rehearsal on Thursday 13th December 2018 at 10.00 am at the Graduation Square, Main Campus. Graduands must clear all fees (Convocation and other fees) by 19th Oct 2018 in preparation for the Graduation Ceremony.
Academic Dress, Graduation and Convocation Fees
Graduands will be issued with graduation gowns at their respective Dean’s Offices on Tuesday, 11th December, 2018.
Graduands will be required to pay a Convocation fee as indicated below:
- PhD – Kshs.6,000/-
- Masters – Kshs.5,000/-
- Bachelors – Kshs.4,000/-
- Diploma – Kshs.3,500/-
- Certificate – Kshs.3,000/-
These fees should be paid to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology Equity Bank Account No. 0750294239156, Bondo Branch. Please obtain an official receipt at JOOUST Main Campus Cash Office.
Those who would have paid the convocation fee and cleared all other requirements will be entitled to two (2) invitation cards and an academic gown which will be issued by the respective Deans. During the ceremony, all graduands will be required to be in full academic attire.
