Great Lakes University of Kisumu GLUK Application 2016
Applicants must posses a minimum of grade C (Plain) in KCSE or its equivalent. Upon successful completion of the pre-university programme, a student can thereafter enrol into the Great Lakes University of Kisumu Undergraduate programs.
The minimum requirement for entry into GLUK certificate program is a C- (minus) in KCSE or its equivalent qualifications.
The minimum requirement for entry into GLUK diploma program is a C (plain) in KCSE or its equivalent qualifications.
To join GLUK’s Bachelor’s program a candidate must have an overall mean of C+ (plus) and above in KCSE or its equivalent.
The entry requirement is a Bachelors degree from an accredited university with a degree awarded with First Class or an Upper Second Class Honours. Those who have Lower Second Class Honours and a Higher Diploma with relevant experience may be considered if the degree or diploma is relevant to the field of study.
Our intakes are in January, May and September of every year.
Payment of Fees
It is important to plan your fee payments for your study at Great Lakes University of Kisumu. Usually, this is communicated in the admission letters to aid you to plan effectively.
You can make an early payment of your fees if you find this more convenient. If you are planning to make payments by installments, please visit the GLUK finance office for further advice.
An initial payment of 50% of tuition fees plus mandatory fees is expected when the semester commences and 100% of a semester’s fee before a student sits for the semesters final examinations. Tuition fees vary from program to program. This is expected of all students.
