  • Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies

The 2nd Cohort for Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (MABTS) admission is still open for West Africa Division (WAD) Applicants.The program is scheduled to run its second session in 2016 at the Adventist University of Africa extension campus – Valley View University Campus, Accra, Ghana.The two options available are:

  1.     Old Testament
  2.     Church History

  • Master of Chaplaincy

The 1st Cohort for the Master of Chaplaincy admission is now open for East-Central Africa Division (ECD) and Southern African-Indian Ocean Division (SID) applicants. Applications are welcome. The program is scheduled to run its first session from August 13, 2015 to October 23, 2015 at Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya.

  • Master of Chaplaincy (WAD)

The 1st Cohort for the Master of Chaplaincy admission is now open for West Africa Division (WAD). Applications are welcome. The program is scheduled to run its first session from June 9, 2016 to August 13, 2016 at Babcock University, Nigeria.

  • Master of Divinity

The 1st Cohort of Master of Divinity admission is now open. Applications are welcome. The program is scheduled to run its first session from April 7, 2016 to June 30, 2016 at Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya.

  • Master of Divinity (WAD)

The 1st Cohort of Master of Divinity admission for West Africa Division (WAD)  is now open. Applications are welcome. The program is scheduled to run its first session from June 6, 2016 to August 26, 2016 at Valley View University, Accra Ghana.

  • Master of Arts in Leadership

The 4th Cohort for the Master of Arts in Leadership admission is now open for East-Central Africa Division (ECD) and Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID) Applicants ONLY.
The program is scheduled to run its first session from January 27, 2016 to April 20, 2016 at the Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya.

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership Announcement

The 1st Cohort for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership Announcement admission is now open for East-Central Africa Division (ECD) applicants. Applications are welcome. The program is scheduled to run its first session during the second quarter if the year2016 at Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya.

Admission Requirements

AUA is using the cohort system. That is, the group that is accepted for the first cycle is expected to continue together, through until the end of the programme.Students financially sponsored by their employers have priority of admission; however, all students must submit a recommendation from their employing organizationNew programmes may be added before the end of the cycle, thus, communication with the Admissions office is indispensable before sending an application.

  • Application For Admission

AUA is open to all qualified applicants irrespective of colour, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender or national origin. Potential students may apply to any of the current programs at any time and be admitted subject to fulfilling in the AUA Application form and meeting all admission requirements.

General Admission Requirements
Each program has its unique requirements for admission. However, the following are general requirements for entry into any of the university’s academic programs:
+ Minimum University Entrance Requirements
Applicants to the master’s programmes must have a first degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) or its equivalent. For practical programmes, applicants must have a minimum of 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale), or its equivalent.In addition to this minimum grade point average required from practical degree programmes applicants, 4 years of relevant professional experience is recommended and preferred for admission. However, direct entrants maybe admitted without a 4 years of field or professional experience if they have a minimum of 3.0 grade point average or equivalent and fulfil other admission requirements.
  Other Admission Requirements
Applicants are also expected to submit recommendation letters from previous university and employing organisations where applicable.Non-English speaking students will be required to demonstrate their ability to study in English by meeting EITHER of the following:(a) A passing score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)(b) A passing score on the British Council English language test (International English Language Test)(c) An English proficiency certification from a recognized university
