Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology(Upgrading)

Holders of Diploma in medical Laboratory Sciences/Technology from an institution Recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians & Technologist Board and should be registered by the same board

OR

Holders of a Higher National Diploma in Medical Laboratory or Related field..Duration:21/2 Years

Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery from a recognized institution & must be registered by the Clinical Officers Council.

Two (2) Principal passes plus 1 Subsidiary in KACE. The principal passes shall be in science subjects combination, one of which must be Biology.

OR

Diploma in Nursing holders with a minimum grade of C in KCSE or Div.II in EACE or its equivalent.  Must be registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya and hold a current practicing license

Diploma in Medical Sciences A minimum O level Division II pass or B Mean Grade and credit pass B in the cluster subjects in K.C.S.E. in addition to a credit pass in the following professional qualifications from a recognized medical training institution. “O” level division II with credit passes in Biology & Physics or Physical sciences and Mathematics or B mean grade in K.C.S.E with an average cluster weight of 32 on relevant subjects as shown above , in addition to a credit pass following professional qualifications from the Kenya medical training college or a recognized training institution .

Holders of any degree in Biological Sciences or microbiology from any recognized University

Holders of other qualification deemed to be equivalent of the qualification mentioned above particularly for foreign students may be admitted upon consideration by the academic board and the senate.
