2018 KCSE & KCPE Exam Dates

2018 national examinations calendar has been published and below is a summary of it;

  • Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams will begin on October 30. Rehearsals for the three-day examinations will be on October 29. The last paper will be on November 1 2018
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations will begin on November 2nd2018.The last paper will be done on November 28th 2018

TOTAL REGISTERED CANDIDATES IN 2018 ACCORDING TO KNEC DATA

  • KCSE: 663,820 registered candidates
  • KCPE: of 1.06 million registered candidates

Registered Candidates according to Gender

  • KCSE: 323,113 girls and 340,707 boys
  • KCPE: 529,124 girls and 531,668 boys
