Outspan medical College is the only private medical college offering the most courses in the country. The college is ranked the No.1 best middle level college in the Mt Kenya region. This is a tribute to its standard of excellence in academics and commitment to quality education
To cater for the growing demand for medical courses, Our mission is to become a university within the next five years to enable us offer degree courses. We have three major intakes in the year in January, May and September. The college has been inspected and approved by all relevant regulatory bodies. We are currently offering 11 Diploma programs and 6 certificate programs not to mention 9 different short courses.
Emerging from our success and strength of The Outspan Hospital is a highly qualified pool of human resource. It was not a challenge therefore for the Outspan Medical College to attract highly qualified academic staff from within and outside.

OMC offers a 3 year Diploma course in Kenya Registered Nursing, which is globally recognized.
Requirements: Mean Grade C in KCSE with cluster subjects of C in Biology or Biological sciences, C in Chemistry or Physical Sciences, C in English or Kiswahili
Clinical Officers are intended to supplement the work of medical doctors at all levels of the healthcare system. This is a 3 year Diploma course.
Requirements: Mean Grade C in KCSE with cluster subjects of C in Biology or Biological Sciences, C in Chemistry or Physical Sciences, C in Engilish or Kiswahili and a C or equivalent in Mathematics or physics.
