All About Eldoret Polytechnic

The Eldoret polytechnic was founded in 1985 and is charged with the responsibility of providing and promoting quality (Technical, industrial, vocational and entrepreneurship (TIVET)). Education and training to empower individuals in technological advancement.

Our particular concern is our joint efforts through partnership, to ensure that our clients are trained through innovative training for a dynamic economy.

This charter will therefore, serve as a indispensable tool in the delivery of quality, inclusive and relevant training the clients. We therefore, pledge a firm and unshakable commitment to the delivery of quality service hinged on our core values and the practices of good governance and accountability.

The core function/business of Eldoret Polytechnic according to the education (Board of Governors OUR MANDATE) legal notice No 120/1986 is to; Offer courses at certificate, Diploma and higher national diploma level that produce Disciplines in the following areas.

• Health science and
• business courses

The Polytechnic produces middle level human resource that are well equipped with technical and business skills required in manufacturing, service, agricultural and informal/juakali sector.

As the polytechnic evolves into degree awarding institutions the mandate will expand to include research and development
