Doctor of Ministry
The 2nd Cohort for Doctor of Ministry admission is now open. The concentrations and locations are:
1. Discipleship and Biblical Spirituality: AUA Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya
2. Youth and Young Adult Ministry: Babcock University, Lagos, Nigeria
3. Evangelism and Church Growth (Urban Ministry emphasis): Helderberg College, Cape Town, South Africa.
If all logistics are in place, the dates are as given below:
1. (Helderberg College): January 18-March 17, 2017
2. (Babcock University): May 9-July 21, 2017
3. (AUA Main Campus): June 20-September 5, 2017.

Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (ECD and SID)
The 2nd Cohort for Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (MABTS) admission is open for East-Central Africa Division (ECD) and Southern African-Indian Ocean Division (SID) Applicants. The program is scheduled to run its first session from September 5th, 2016 to November 24th, 2016 at the Adventist University of Africa main campus Nairobi, Kenya.

- Systematic Theology
Master of Divinity (ECD and SID)
The 1st Cohort of Master of Divinity admission for East-Central Africa Division (ECD) and Southern African-Indian Ocean Division (SID) is now open. The program is scheduled to run its second session from April 6, 2017 to July 14, 2017 at the Adventist University of Africa main campus Nairobi, Kenya.
Master of Chaplaincy (WAD)
The 1st Cohort for the Master of Chaplaincy admission is Still open for West Africa Division (WAD) Applicants. Applications are welcome. The program is scheduled to run its Second session from June 8th, 2017 to August 15th, 2017 at Babcock University, Lagos, Nigeria.
School of Postgraduate Studies
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Evening Program is open for applications for September and January Admissions. Classes are scheduled in the evenings from September to December 2016 and January to April 2017 at the Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya.
With AUA’s MBA, you can choose from one of the specializations listed below:
- Management
- Accounting
- Finance
- Information Systems
Non-business bachelor degree holders can be admitted into the MBA program, but will be required to take some foundation/prerequisite courses.

The program is scheduled to run its first session from March 6th, 2017 to May 19th, 2017 at Solusi University extension campus Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Master of Arts in Leadership
The 4th Cohort for the Master of Arts in Leadership admission is now open for East-Central Africa Division (ECD) and Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID) Applicants ONLY.
The program is scheduled to run its second session from January 23rd, 2017 to March 24th, 2017 at the Adventist University of Africa Main Campus, Nairobi, Kenya.
AUA is using the cohort system. That is, the group that is accepted for the first cycle is expected to continue together, through until the end of the programme.
Students financially sponsored by their employers have priority of admission; however, all students must submit a recommendation from their employing organization
New programmes may be added before the end of the cycle, thus, communication with the Admissions office is indispensable before sending an application.
- Application For Admission
AUA is open to all qualified applicants irrespective of colour, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender or national origin. Potential students may apply to any of the current programs at any time and be admitted subject to fulfilling in the AUA Application form and meeting all admission requirements.
Each program has its unique requirements for admission. However, the following are general requirements for entry into any of the university’s academic programs:
Applicants to the master’s programmes must have a first degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 3.0-grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) or its equivalent. For practical programmes, applicants must have a minimum of 2.5-grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) or its equivalent.
In addition to this minimum grade point average required from practical degree programmes applicants, 4 years of relevant professional experience is recommended and preferred for admission. However, direct entrants may be admitted without 4 years of field or professional experience if they have a minimum of 3.0-grade point average or equivalent and fulfil other admission requirements.
Applicants are also expected to submit recommendation letters from the previous university and employing organisations where applicable.
Non-English speaking students will be required to demonstrate their ability to study in English by meeting EITHER of the following:
(a) A passing score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
(b) A passing score on the British Council English language test (International English Language Test)
(c) An English proficiency certification from a recognized university
